Myco Poms
We grow our own poms.
Yep, you read that right. We grow them out of mycelium (basically fungi roots, in case you didn’t know). All our mycelium products are coated with a special proprietary wax blend for durability.
We have two kinds of poms, tether through poms and spinner poms.
1) Tether thru myco poms are very similar to the standard silicon pom, but 100% compostable. The tether runs through the pom, and you can adjust weight with washers as you wish in your own time. These are excellent for either sock poi or contact poi, and can be weighted as you wish for juggling your prop.
2) Spinner myco poms: These are smooth balls with an embedded spinners. Ideal for flags, wands, and other toys where conservation of momentum is key to flow. They are pre weighted and non adjustable, but the joy of having these with a set of flags is undeniable and worth the drop in weight flexibility. You probably aren’t juggling your flag poi, anyway ;).
